Giving new meaning to the phrase "Stimulus Package"

David Brooks, today on All Things Considered:

"The idea that the stimulus package is going to stimulate the economy is dubious. There has been a long history of stimulus packages; they almost never stimulate the economy. We just had one, and that doesn't seem to have worked. Though I did see a study suggesting that the stimulus package, the old one, raised online porn subscriptions."
