Design review: Crew Creative Advertising

After being wowed by this poster at the movies recently:

I found out a bit about the poster's creators, Crew Creative, via the awesome IMP Awards. Not only are they responsible for some of the other best posters out now...

...they are also responsible for other recent classic posters/campaigns (note: not necessarily an endorsement of the movies themselves)...

...but somehow, they are still one of the preeminent purveyors of the terrible compositeshop posters that are everywhere (even Dane Cook hates his):

Just like many other creatives, when they create something genius...

They can capitalize on it over and over:

(which can then be ripped off to some success, such as this 'homage' by The Refinery:)

They have also, unexpectedly, been responsible for other memorable posters/advertisements that are not cinema-related:

And they've created one of the most unexpected posters I've seen in quite a while, bringing Kara Walker to the suburbs. Does this make Kara Walker's work more relevant or less? Is this the same thing as The Beatles bringing avant-garde symphonic work into popular music via "A Day In The Life," or is this just greasy ad-men pilfering 'real culture' to sell?:

They are currently hiring for a Flash Developer, as well as, uh, 'always looking'... so if you're looking for that kind of work you might like to head over to their site.
